I have referral partners, but I’m not getting a lot out of them—how can the system help me?
First we help our clients build a robust database of referral sources they should be targeting and who within those centers they should target.
A lot of time, we see people targeting the wrong folks who don’t have the interaction with the seniors and family in need.
We encourage people to target those who engage with seniors and families at their point of crisis and present ourselves as the solution they need.
What should my budget look like for sales and marketing? How much on digital vs referral marketing?
We believe that you get a bigger bang for your buck with feet on the streets–building relationships and referral partnerships. However, having a steady stream of digital leads is important–especially for people just starting out. I’ve seen people pay $3-4K a month—it's tough to get the ROI on that. Online lead providers are cheaper and payment is linked to results–you pay for referrals. The key with digital leads is you must have the infrastructure to act on those leads immediately and work them to the bone! 40% of leads come in after hours and weekends–you need a system to capitalize on those at all hours.
I don’t have a dedicated salesperson on my team—can this system still work for me?
Not really–it’s a turn-key system to support a marketing person.
